05:30 hrs – Departure from Hotel
Embark on your journey early to maximize your time in the wild. Drive through the scenic Kenyan countryside as the sun rises, heading towards Tsavo West National Park.
Morning Game Drive
Enjoy a game drive en route to Ngulia Safari Lodge, keeping an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, and other wildlife that thrive in Tsavo West’s rugged terrain.
12:30 hrs – Lunch at Ngulia Safari Lodge
Arrive at the lodge and savor a hearty lunch while taking in stunning views of the park and its unique volcanic landscapes.
16:00 hrs – Afternoon Game Drive
Venture out for an afternoon game drive to explore Tsavo West further. Visit key attractions like the Mzima Springs, famous for its underwater viewing chamber, and the Shetani Lava Flow, a striking remnant of volcanic activity.
19:30 hrs – Dinner and Overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge
Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner. Relax in the comfortable surroundings as you listen to the sounds of the wild, and if you’re lucky, spot leopards attracted by the lodge's evening lighting.
Transition to Tsavo East
06:30 hrs – Morning Game Drive
Start your day with an early game drive, an excellent time to see predators returning from their night hunts and herbivores grazing in the cool morning hours.
08:00 hrs – Breakfast at Ngulia Safari Lodge
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast as you prepare for the day’s adventures.
08:30 hrs – Game Drive En Route to Tsavo East
Journey towards Tsavo East National Park, known for its vast open plains and iconic red-dusted elephants. Marvel at the changing landscapes as you transition from the volcanic terrain of Tsavo West to the expansive savannahs of Tsavo East.
12:30 hrs – Lunch at Voi Safari Lodge
Arrive at Voi Safari Lodge, perched on a hill with panoramic views of Tsavo East’s plains. Enjoy a delicious lunch and take in the serene vistas.
13:30 hrs – Afternoon Game Drive to Doa Doa Camp
Embark on an afternoon game drive en route to Doa Doa Tented Camp, exploring wildlife hotspots along the way. Spot lions, buffalo, zebras, and more as your guide takes you through the park’s hidden gems.
19:30 hrs – Dinner and Overnight at Doa Doa Tented Camp
Check into the tranquil Doa Doa Tented Camp, known for its intimate connection with nature. Enjoy a delightful dinner and unwind under the African sky before retiring to your comfortable tented accommodation.

06:30 hrs – Breakfast at the Camp
Wake up to the serene sounds of nature and enjoy a leisurely breakfast as you soak in the tranquility of Doa Doa.
07:30 hrs – Guided Nature Walk
Join a guided game walk for an intimate experience of the wilderness. Learn about the local flora and fauna while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Your guide will share insights into the smaller wonders of the ecosystem, from unique plants to fascinating insects.
09:00 hrs – Departure for Your Hotel
Bid farewell to the camp and start your journey back to your hotel. Relive your safari highlights as you drive through the picturesque landscapes, arriving in time for lunch.

Arrive in Nairobi, where you are met by an Abercrombie & Kent representative and escorted to your hotel.
Meet your guide and depart on an excursion to view remarkable African species in two special settings. Visit the Giraffe Center, where you may hand-feed endangered Rothschild’s giraffes from a platform that brings you to eye level with these majestic giants, who gently snatch food with their long blue tongues. At the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, watch young elephants at play with attentive keepers, who explain the process of reintroducing the elephants into the wild. Continue to the Oloolua Forest, once a hiding place for the Mau Mau Freedom Fighters during the war for independence but today a tranquil respite from the city. Here you enjoy an A&K-exclusive forest folklore stories experience, listening to tales handed down from one generation to the next, followed by lunch.
