Begin your adventure with a comfortable transfer from your hotel to Malindi Airport. Relax as your guide ensures all logistics are in place for your seamless journey.
08:30 – Scheduled Flight to the Masai Mara
Board a scenic flight to the Masai Mara. Enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Kenya’s landscapes, from coastal plains to the vast savannahs of the Mara.
10:30 – Arrival in the Masai Mara
Touch down at the Masai Mara airstrip, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide. Embark on a short scenic drive to Governors Camp, your luxurious accommodation nestled in the heart of the Mara, surrounded by wildlife and natural beauty.
12:00 – Lunch at Governors Camp
Savor a delectable lunch featuring a fusion of local and international cuisines. Dine on the shaded terrace overlooking the Mara River, where hippos and crocodiles often make an appearance.
15:30 – Afternoon Game Drive
Set out for your first game drive in the Masai Mara, a wildlife haven renowned for its abundance of animals. Spot the "Big Five" (elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos) along with cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of bird species. Your experienced guide will provide fascinating insights into the behavior and habitats of the animals.
20:00 – Dinner and Overnight at Governors Camp
Return to camp for a gourmet dinner under the stars. Relax by the campfire and share stories of your day’s adventures before retiring to your luxurious tented suite, complete with modern amenities and a connection to the wild.

06:30 – Early Morning Game Drive
Rise early for a sunrise game drive, the best time to spot predators in action and witness the Mara’s wildlife awakening. The golden morning light provides excellent opportunities for photography.
09:00 – Breakfast at Governors Camp
Return to camp for a hearty breakfast served with freshly brewed coffee and tea. Enjoy the tranquil ambiance as you prepare for more exploration.
10:00 – Mid-Morning Game Drive
Embark on another game drive to explore a different area of the reserve. Your guide will take you to prime locations for wildlife sightings, ensuring every moment is unforgettable.
12:00 – Lunch at Governors Camp
Enjoy a final meal at the camp, reflecting on the incredible sights and sounds of the Mara.
14:00 – Scheduled Flight to Malindi

16:00 – Arrival in Malindi and Transfer to Hotel

Meet your guide and depart on an excursion to view remarkable African species in two special settings. Visit the Giraffe Center, where you may hand-feed endangered Rothschild’s giraffes from a platform that brings you to eye level with these majestic giants, who gently snatch food with their long blue tongues. At the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, watch young elephants at play with attentive keepers, who explain the process of reintroducing the elephants into the wild. Continue to the Oloolua Forest, once a hiding place for the Mau Mau Freedom Fighters during the war for independence but today a tranquil respite from the city. Here you enjoy an A&K-exclusive forest folklore stories experience, listening to tales handed down from one generation to the next, followed by lunch.
