At the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, watch young elephants at play with attentive keepers, who explain the process of reintroducing the elephants into the wild. Continue to the Oloolua Forest, once a hiding place for the Mau Mau Freedom Fighters during the war for independence but today a tranquil respite from the city.
