Nairobi to Masai Mara
Hit the road and embark on a scenic drive to the Masai Mara (5-6 hours). Along the way, enjoy some family games and fun trivia about Kenya’s wildlife.
Once you arrive, it's time for a family game drive! Spot lions, elephants, zebras, and more as your guide shares fascinating facts.
Campfire storytelling under the stars – sit around the fire and enjoy Maasai tales, told by your guide, with a bit of magic thrown in!
Masai Mara Safari
Rise early for a wildlife treasure hunt on a family-friendly game drive! Track animals and learn how to identify tracks, signs, and sounds with fun lessons.
Pack a picnic lunch in the bush – have a tasty meal surrounded by nature’s beauty while keeping your eyes peeled for wildlife!
In the afternoon, take it easy at the lodge with fun activities like nature walks or swimming, perfect for kids.
Masai Mara – Maasai Village Visit
Start the day with a game drive – keep an eye out for the Big Five!
After the drive, it's time for an immersive Maasai village adventure. Kids can join in traditional dances, hear exciting stories about Maasai culture, and even try their hand at crafts!
Fun with the locals! Learn how to make Maasai beadwork and discover the amazing stories behind their customs.
Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
After a hearty breakfast, it's off to Lake Nakuru (about 5 hours). Along the way, play car games or tell funny wildlife jokes!
Enjoy a relaxed afternoon game drive around the lake. Watch for flamingos, rhinos, and other creatures, and take a moment to snap family photos by the shore.
Evening activities – enjoy family games or storytelling, and be sure to catch the sunset over the lake!
Lake Nakuru Safari
Rise and shine! Head out for a morning game drive through the park and spot rhinos, giraffes, and monkeys.
Then it’s time for an exciting nature walk, where kids can become junior rangers, learning about the plants, animals, and conservation.
Take a trip to Baboon Cliff for jaw-dropping views of Lake Nakuru and the surrounding area – perfect for family pictures!
Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, start your journey back to Nairobi.
Along the way, stop at the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and meet the adorable baby elephants! You can even adopt one and follow its journey of recovery.
Before heading to your hotel, stop by the Kazuri Beads Factory where kids can see artisans making beautiful handmade beads. They can even create their own souvenir!
Departure
After a fun-filled safari, head to Nairobi for your flight home. If you have extra time, take a family tour of Nairobi City to see the highlights like museums, markets, and parks!
Wave goodbye to Kenya, with a heart full of memories, as you board your flight or extend your stay for more adventures.

Meet your guide and depart on an excursion to view remarkable African species in two special settings. Visit the Giraffe Center, where you may hand-feed endangered Rothschild’s giraffes from a platform that brings you to eye level with these majestic giants, who gently snatch food with their long blue tongues. At the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, watch young elephants at play with attentive keepers, who explain the process of reintroducing the elephants into the wild. Continue to the Oloolua Forest, once a hiding place for the Mau Mau Freedom Fighters during the war for independence but today a tranquil respite from the city. Here you enjoy an A&K-exclusive forest folklore stories experience, listening to tales handed down from one generation to the next, followed by lunch.
